SL: It stands for Sleeper Class. Most of the people travel in this class. The Sleeper class has 72 to 78 seats and the seat configuration is like 3+3+2. This means there are three seats on either side of the compartment and two seats on the aisle side of the compartment.
1A: It means First Class AC. It is also known as Executive Class or EC in Shatabdi Express. If you are booking a seat in 1A, TTE will give you seats before the start of the journey. The seats in this coach are very comfortable. Even the food in this coach is also available in a wide variety.
2A: This means Second-Class AC. Its coach has two seats on either side. Whereas, in the corridor, there are two seats on each side as well. It is also known as AC 2 Tier.
3A: This means Third AC. AC coaches in sleeper class have 3A written on them. seats here the number of seats varies according to the coach, where the minimum number of seats in a bogie is 64 and the maximum number of seats is 72.
2S: This means Second Seating. This is the cheapest ticket available in the sitting class. It has 6 seats in a row. The seats are facing each other. The total number of seats in 2S is 108 seats per bogie.
CC: It stands for AC Chair Car. The seating arrangement here is 2 + 3, which is comfortable. But on a long journey, you should avoid booking tickets on it.
